You may see these terms listed in your quotes– they vary depending on manufacture, product and process of imprint.

ART & DESIGN CHARGES: These are charges from Artistic Solutions. They include time necessary to create or cleanup existing art and prepare it for imprinting on the product of your choice. Please see art specifications listed on the “Imprinted Graphic Guidelines” Information sheet. Often these charges are not listed on the initial quote. You will be informed in advance of any art charges as soon as we are aware of your requirements. (See specific art charges and hourly rates guide)

BLEEDS: When an imprint goes beyond the edge of the product to be printed it is considered a bleed (get it bleeds off the page). This process requires extra paper and trimming so your pricing will reflect this. It is generally a term used in the production of postcards, business cards, letterhead, brochures etc.

DIE CHARGES: This process is necessary to make a mold specifically for your art that can be embossed or debossed onto the product of choice. This often occurs with products such as metal, leather, simulated leather, foil and printing. Your quote will reflect this charge and is often a one time fee so long as no changes occur.

DIGITIZING FEES: This process is necessary to prepare your art for embroidery on garments and accessories.  When art is digitized it is converted from flat art to a file that can tell the embroidery machine how to stitch your art in threads onto your chosen product. Your quote will reflect this charge; it is a one time fee so long as no changes occur.

FOUR COLOR PROCESS: Whenever 4 or more colors are used in imprinting this requires a special process which converts all colors to what we call CYMK, much like a photograph in a magazine. Your product pricing will reflect this extra charge.

HALF TONES or GHOSTING: This process is a percentage of a solid color that allows the object to be faded in the

 background. To achieve this look it requires a certain DPI (dots per inch) on the page and takes extra care to assure it appears correctly on the end product. This may require additional charges.

PMS INK (Pantone Match System): Generally there are standard colors that each manufacture uses for imprinting at no extra charge. These standard colors vary in variety and choice depending on the product we are imprinting.   If a special color match is needed there is always an additional fee attached or it is built into the price. Your quote will reflect this pricing.

RUN CHARGE: All products include one color imprint. When 2 or more colors are needed for the imprint there may be an additional run charge. Your quote will reflect pricing.

SCREEN CHARGES: To imprint a product there is a screen charge for each color imprinted. A screen is created for each color in your design. In our quotes we generally include screen charges in our pricing on all t-shirts, wearable and accessories.

SET UP CHARGES: To imprint a product there is generally a set up charge per color required. . Your quote will reflect this pricing.

FREIGHT

Generally all our products are shipped UPS ground unless otherwise requested. UPS ground can take from 1 to 5 days

anywhere in the United States. Since many of the products we sell have manufacture facilities back east and in various

locations it may take up to 5 days from the date that your product ships for you to receive it in hands. We are dedicated to

helping you make the best choice for shipping to meet your deadline. Unless requested we do not list freight on our quotes,

it is charged when the product is billed. We can quote freight if
necessary – please ask.  If you are on account or have pre-paid, your product can be shipped direct to your home or business.

EXPEDITED FREIGHT: PLEASE PLAN AHEAD – Make sure to let us know your deadline – We can help! 

When planning for event deadlines it is necessary to consider how long it takes for the product to arrive and if need be ship

the product in expedited freight. Of course these other choices will incur higher freight charges, but may be well worth it to

get the product when you need it and save your stress.

 RED LABEL: Next day Delivery by 10:30AM
 SATURDAY DELIVERY: Check for availability
 BLUE LABEL: 2 day
 3 DAY SELECT: This is the least expensive of the expedited freight choices and is a good one to assure the arrival of your   product on time. UPS guarantees delivery.

TRACKING NUMBER: This is a number UPS and other shippers provide so you can see where your product is while in

transit. We will do everything possible to keep you informed of your products arrival.
